ISAC is now accepting the
sixth semester data that will be used in
State Scholar determination for students who will be college freshmen during the 2025-26 academic year. While ISAC will not begin to "process" the student data until early fall, high schools are encouraged to submit their data as soon as they are able to do so. Further details – including a reminder that, beginning with the announcement of 2025-26 State Scholars,
all high schools (rather than ISAC) need to print Certificates of Achievement for their State Scholars – are provided in a

The fiscal year 2025 (FY25) operating budget and budget implementation bills, which together provide funding and statutory authority for Illinois programs and services (including ISAC's programs), were recently signed into law. Highlights include: another increase to the MAP appropriation, which has again resulted in historic funding for the program; and, a first-time state appropriation for ECACE Scholarships that is considerably lower than the amount of federal funding that had been available in prior years, likely resulting in the program being able to support only a portion of renewal applicants. FY25 appropriations for ISAC-administered
gift assistance programs, along with other details, are provided in a
